Students learn how to protect their credit rating at Credit University!
How do you get young adults excited about avoiding identity theft, protecting their credit, and increasing their personal savings?  You bring them Credit University!

Through the generous sponsorship of  Group Health Credit Union, Qualstar Credit Union, Seattle Metropolitan Credit Union, Sound Credit Union, Verity Credit Union, Washington State Employees Credit Union , and  Watermark Credit Union thousand of teens across western Washington are learning:

  • How to identify and avoid identity theft
  • How ‘good’ and ‘bad’ credit are earned, and the consequences of each
  • How quickly interest compounds when you start saving as a teen
  • That saving money doesn’t mean depriving yourself of fun!

In 2007, over 5,500 teens from 185 Washington State high schools experienced the credit union difference and learned how to create and protect their savings and earnings.

This 60 minute, non-commercial presentation is FREE to teens at schools, conferences, camps, and any gathering where teens are interested in learning how to keep more of their money in their pockets.
