Thanks to a partnership between a number of Washington Credit Unions and Consumer University, Credit University is teaching high school students about:

Investor Education In Your Community
Investor Education in Your Community ® is a unique investor education program that is saturating Washington’s communities with multiple days of investor education.
Consumer University coordinates the program and is responsible for giving presentations in the communities. The program is made possible by a grant from the Investor Protection Trust and by the Washington Department of Financial Institutions.

Investor Education 2020
Basics of Saving and Investing: Investor Education 2020 guide is an investor education and protection teaching guide. It was developed for high school educators.
Consumer University has helped the Investor Protection Trust train educators on using the guide and also visited schools to teach classes on investing and investment fraud.

Consumer University for Teens
Between 2004 and 2006, over 15,000 high school students in Pennsylvania and New Jersey experienced Consumer University for Teens in their high schools. Students learned how compounding interest earned through investing can pay off in a big way.
A once-boring topic for teens becomes exciting and fun when short term gains are emphasized through long term financial goal setting.
